Weller is a different mash bill from Eagle Rare, so there is a chance you may like it. ER is a low rye mash bill, while Weller is a wheated mash bill. I seem to prefer stuff with a bit more rye in it and not a lot, if any, wheat.

Weller is probably still a good recommendation to see if you like wheated bourbons or not.

Myself and some Buddies done the tour at Moonrise in Clayton . Highly recommend if you interested in how bourbon is made . Very informative and fun . Head distiller conducts the tour not some PR rep . One of guys with us has done most or the Kentucky bourbon tour and he said this is by far the best . Samples are part of price and he has some good juice .
