I enjoyed your report. Have you considered shimming the action? I found it will tighten mauser groups up quite a bit.
So I had the PU Sniper out today - hunted with her. As I use her more and more. I really really like her. I see why the soviets used this gun and it still sees action today. VERY reliable. never a misfire. Trigger is OK, decent accuracy shooting pie plate sized targets. It hits in the black every time.
Alleycat - I have never though of that....I may have a new project.
Good enough for government work! Well done. I need to shoot mine. Never got around to it. Always just snag the PSL instead.
Was shooting 2"-3'' inch groups yesterday after hunting. Shot Brown Bear SP - those are very hot & ran somePrivi 195 FMJ BT though it. Not bad either.
