The Mystery of the Disappearing 3rd Glock Magazine ...

As far as I know, Glock started shipping their pistols with 3 magazines about a year or so into production of the Gen 4's, by 2012 or so...
Looking at the ads here on ODT, 80%+ seem to come with only 2 mags.
I have even bought a couple like that, and it says 3 mags on the glock box.

Where are all these 3rd magazines going?

Saved for an extra $20 sale. I've bought two Glocks this way, one guy admitting that he was keeping for an extra $30 sale and the other going what the hell, you can have the 3rd.

I recall a large Glock Distributor on the Southside that removed one from every new Glock they got just to re-sell them at retail.

It’s simple. We have other glocks and we keep the 3rd mag. Doesn’t really affect the sale price. Free mags!
