I couldn't find a thread so here:

I bought this one today. It's a Colt Gold Cup Trophy Series 70. I replaced the stocks with some older walnut ones.

I stripped and cleaned it for the range. Colt goes heavy on lubricants for new guns.

Here are a few older ones.

Here is my first Colt Gold Cup Trophy (2010). It's a great gun right out of the box.

I also have a 2011 Colt Series 70 with the "100 Years of Service" roll nark, It was $925 in 2011. Didn't work well on ejection. I called Colt and got a paid shipping label.
I have the paperwork, and Colt replaced the ejector and added a National Match Barrel. It's rare for that, but the ejector is still a little slow as it dents some rounds on the ejection (so not reloadable).

I bought a Colt 0911A1 "Limited Edition" 1911 at retail price. Model 01911SE-A1:

I like the newer Colt 1911 and the older S&W revolvers.

I am always very specific when buying from A.O. (Adventures Outdoor). I have bought from them since before they moved to their current location in 2010-2011.

The manager looked over my purchase and thanked me for my support. I said that I appreciate AO's support to ODT.

ODT and AO are the two big businesses in GA, They need to work well together as a team to support our 2A Rights.

P/S AO has a big sale on ammo. I also bought $250 in ammo. No such thing as too much ammo.
