Did the decision signify which religion? It could be of his choice.

That kid is probably very happy with his sentence.

"Church" could be any place intended for worship of anything. If he would have said a particular Religion that would have been a little different. The judge may have just sentenced a future Al Qaeda leader to 10 years at Mosque
