I believed the hype and some reviews and bought one of these. The first trip to the range, performed flawless. On the next outing, after about 50 rounds, the ambi-safety literally fell out of the pistol. After putting the safety back in, it worked ok until the next firing session,when the slide lock stopped engaging the follower in the mag.Tried a Chip McCormick and a Kimber mag and that didn't solve problem.
Made 2 attempts to get repaired by Taurus, but each time it came back in same condition.
I gambled on an in-expensive 1911 and lost. This gun was the biggest piece of crap I ever owned. Should have followed my instinct and bought another Colt.
