Stupid check engine light

You can also disconnect the battery and will reset it. Happened with a Ford Mustang I had and that took care of it.

Disconnect the battery for 10-30 mins. Should reset it if it's cleared.

Sometimes you can check the owners manual or do a google search and you may be able to reset the light yourself. Sometimes it's as simple as turning the key on and off, patting your head and rubbing your belly at the same time and it will go off.

I got my monies worth of it . It has 140,000 miles. No major problems. Still gets me from A to B

That kind of code resets after so many cycles of the key. Let it be, it'll clear itself.
