Stocking a fish pond

An aerator will help tremendously. You absulutely need to keep the O2 levels up especially in the summer.
 
Crappie are great eating fish as well. I am kinda surprised nobody mentioned them before me but they can do well in a pond of that size. As mentioned earlier, put in some brushpiles for the panfish to use. They will hold the crappie for some killer fishing as well.

Call Greg Grimes, I think he is out of Ballground,Ga. I hope I spelled his name right. He is also featured in the Georgia Outdoor News every once in a while. I have talked with him myself and he seemed to have a lot of good advise. The thing is it does cost a lot of money to have a good fishery and once you get it going you will have to pay to have fish taken out from time to time to keep the population in balance as you wont be able to harvest enough fish yourself.
