I have countless hawks (and squirrels) in my backyard. Live on a beaverpond. I have NEVER seen a hawk catch a squirrel despite several efforts. What I have seen on more than one occasion though is a squirrel chase a hawk away. Always get a chuckle out of it.

Video shopped no doubt, but still entertaining!
I have lots of hawks around my place. I watched one hit a dove in flight just when the dove just took off. They like to clean up after I assassinate a bird feeder invading squirrel. That was a very good video. It took a lot of work. I was hoping for a happier ending.
