I enjoy cruising around the lake when traffic is not so bad. Here's a selfie I took slowly rolling down Buford Dam Road.

The problem with the early T/C cam tensioners were legendary and accounted for many a failed engine. My indy mechanic brought up a lesser known problem. The early T/C's had cams built by a third party to Harleys specs. Problem was the "hardened" surface did not hold up on some of them. Once it wears to the "soft metal" it's a ticking time bomb. Harley changed suppliers a few years later and that was the end of that issue. Could see the wear on my sons Dyna cams where soft metal was "peeking" through.
Awesome ride. Awesome atmosphere.
I sold this last year to my friend and I might buy it back! He's out of work and mentioned selling it.
