I don't know of any secondary AR manufacturer in good shape.
I suppose "doing well" is relative. Still no functional website and selling lowers at gunshows for $70. It's quite a long stretch from the original plan of using shills to sell highly overpriced AR's. But, the fact that they're still around at all counts for something, I guess.

Didn't they supply lowers to other manufacturers before the expanded their business to full retail?
I don't remember the whole story. There's some former connection to Ft. Daniel.
Then there was Skyguns International, which appeared to be a whole different outfit. They made all sorts of outrageous claims while producing an exact copy of the DRD takedown rifle. That particular design keeps making the rounds under different manufacturers names.
You know when Daniel Defense is offering rebates that the AR world is saturated.
Actually not bad lowers built one for a friend.My only gripe is cerakote was heavy in places.

After Sandy Hook, lots of AR manufacturers popped up and the big boys ramped up production. Eventually supply exceeded demand putting the AR market in the toilet. The big guys will survive but I don't see much future for small businesses dedicated to manufacturing a product in a flooded market. Really, the only hope for those in the AR business is a Hillary presidency. They need another scare.
