Why I bought some Sat morning. $27.something.

That was Saturday, today is a different trading day. 1oz bars on the secondary market on APMEX are $35.43 if you buy 500 or more...1-19 quantity will cost you $37.95 an oz.

I bought Saturday as part of my normal buy. I am in for the long haul. If it gets nutty I will sell otherwise I will hold it

Same here. I suspect it will drift up and down about like usual, sellers will make a little money, but it will be short term.
PMs are not for making money unless you are a seller. But as a hedge.

It should top around $30 by summer. Then hold a few months. Then next winter when ‘ ‘Obama Jr’ has screwed us even further - silver will go to $60/oz and our dollar will be plummeting.

Annnndddddd it reached $30 4 days after this post was made.

I picked up 3 tubes of silver Eagles in 1999 as well as a fair amount of Morgan silver dollars. If memory serves me correctly I paid around $7.65 each for the Eagles. Keep it all in the bank safety deposit box and go in and look at it every now and then and always leave with a smile.
