These are seated .003 off the lands, 2.220 measured @ the ogive.

At 42 grains you're on the low end....move it up towards the mid 44's and you'll be happier. For what it's worth, I was much happier 4064 than I ever was with VARGET when I was working up a load for my savage 110FP....but YMMV.

45 grs of Varget is what my rifle likes. 3rds 3/8 of an inch @ 100yds. 5 rds 5/8 of an inch @ 100yds.
