I have a left hand Mathews MR7, 70lbs that can be lowered to 55lbs...I know because my son used to shoot it that low when he was learning.

What price range are you looking at? It has a sight and stabilizer.

I'm thinking I could let it go for $400 shipped.

What bows brands can I adjust at home without a bow press?

Good question. My friend is about to go shopping for an inexpensive bow for backyard practice, and I expect he'll find some that are "adjustable" but currently set to near-maximum power for hunting. How would one go about dropping the draw weight to the minimum setting, at home, yourself?
