Have the actual gun in possession, and make sure it's yours.

Not your wife's.
Not your neighbor's
Not your gun dealer's
Not your dog's.

Don't offer a gun, a specific one that somebody is looking for, only to say, that you're working on a deal on such gun with another guy, and that you may have it in possession by next paycheck if you make enough to buy it from the seller.

some0ne would do that? DJD.yeah have it when you deal.

You should ask him who he is buying it from and then see if that guy wants to trade with you. Cut out the middle man with no money.

Or you could have someone who claims their wife locked their guns in the safe only to later trade it to Gordon Freeman Gordon Freeman the same day and offer to sell magazines that were also not his. Not that it ever happened to me or anything. Only to be traded to me by Gordon Freeman Gordon Freeman the same day. Boom!
I read it three times. Still lost. But in!
