I picked up a Gen II Ruger American in 7mm08. Stock is way stiffer than the original RAR
Shoots factory 140 Fusions 3 shots in .358 with only 4 rds through barrel @100 yards
Scope is a 3-10x40 Bushnell elite 3200

Thanks for the report. I was wondering when I would see some feedback on this new and improved platform and it would appear that Ruger has hit another home run. Enjoy..

I saw a 450 Bushmaster and a 223 today at my local gun shop. Super nice looking. Great! Feel..
At $545 I may have to buy both. Lol
