Hmmm...may be in the market for a 16" .44mag when they come out eventually.

Me too, ready for a new 1894 in 44 mag and blue steel.

Yeah, although the new models, after Remington went back to square 1 and started Marlin back up from scratch, were all pretty good. Not as much fit and finish as the prime-JM era, but good quality guns.

I'm sure Ruger will do fine with them, although I doubt you will see the lowball prices Marlin had guns selling for pre-pandemic.

Would be neat if you could like pick and choose parts from all the other stuff and build your own. I feel like they've got enough variations that everyone could build their own to be happy.
