Retread Tires

Ever see those big hunks of tread on the road... that's retreads.

If you have 18 wheels and no fender-wells to speak of, it's no big deal when (not if) one of them lets go.

If you just have 4 wheels, and one lets go, the best case is that you tear up a fender well and that side of your car. I'll leave the worst case to your imagination.

If you want to go cheap on car expenses, use no-name gas. Use generic oil. Don't pay for car washes.

The few square inches of contact patch between your tires and the road are the only thing standing between you and the nearest ditch or tree. Tires are the last thing you want to skimp on.

Im not sure what size tire you're looking at but for $60... You could get new rubber for not much more and keep hour fenders intact. When retreads go they take everything with them and pose a hazard to the driver and the surrounding vehicles.

I used be a truck driver

No way I'm running recaps on a car

They blow all
The time on big tucks

I even quit buying them for
My big truck. Started paying for normal tires
