I was taught to stay away from any load that deforms the brass. If it comes out with a "Buddha" bulge then your loads are too hot. All it takes is one split or thin walled case over the top of your magazine (thought about saying clip, but that's another thread) and bad things can happen. If you're at all concerned about the load; chamber one round, remove the magazine and pull the trigger. Gives the pressure a place to go in case of an accident.
