Never owned one of those hand priming tools that have a primer hopper built in - and now for sure I won’t! I do use an old hand priming tool to occasionally prime 45 ACP with small primer pockets to use when I won’t be picking up my brass at a match. You put a single primer in the tool and prime a case then repeat. Never do more than a box of ammo at a time, so doesn’t take long. Then I run the cases through my Dillon to finish reloading them.

Hope your friend heals quickly - glad he didn’t lose any fingers.
