recommendation for a scope

I have just realized that I have never posted a feedback here. Sorry.
Well, at the end I decided to go for a fixed 4x, and not to install the see-thru so I purchased standard Leupold rings and base.
as far as the scope is concerned I could not really find something that was within the budget among the "major" brands other than a Nikon that I was now able to get because of the snowpocalypse so at the end the choice was a Hawke.
