From experience never underestimate the power behind perfect hit to the top of the dome with a beer bottle. Saved my life or (atleast a few of my teeth) one time in college.

People automatically think of the martial arts as karate, judo etc. Martial arts can be any form of physical ability to fight. Hand to hand is a martial art. If you look up a list of martial arts, boxing and wrestling are included.

Use of firearms as a fighting tool is a martial art.
