I am the same. If we agree, it is a done deal even if someone offers more. Maybe old school, but I consider it Character.

I saw a particular Gun posted I've been looking for a while(Monday)

Messaged the guy selling it, told him I would take it, cash in hand, ready to meet

He said the first time he was available would be this afternoon(Wednesday), that worked with my schedule so we agreed to meet up then.

Messaged him last night(Tuesday), he didn't respond

He messaged me this morning(Wednesday), saying "he meant to get back to me quicker, but another guy who was closer outbid me"

Has this been happening often? I've done a fair amount of buying/selling/trading here over the past few years and this is the first time I've seen this happen.

I believe this is the first time ever heard of this... (Today)....
