I would like to help someone out on ODT. Up for auction with all proceeds going directly to an ODT member (see thread link below) is a Savage Model 10, .223, bolt action rifle, new in the box. This gun retails for $600 - $700, and details can be found on the link below. Let's auction through Saturday night, I'll meet and deliver the weapon in the Alpharetta/Canton area, face to face with a quick glimpse at you carry permit. Please think generous, they need our help.
This would be a great starter gun, a light whitetail gun, or a nice little varmint gun. Heavier then usual barrel, this will throw some heavier .223 bullets down range. I bought this and a CZ, and settled on an FN. I'll throw in 100 new rounds of .223 hunting ammo with the deal, and a hard case.
I would like bids to hit $550 as a minimum, if not, I'll sell the rifle outright and donate the funds.
