Some nimrod at the quick lube in Charleston tried to sell me a rear differential fluid swap on a 2009 Altima. It was part of their 'recommended service' for my vehicle.

Dummies. The correct recommended service for a Altima is a new transmission every oil change.

I actually got 127k miles before it needed a new tranny. 2k after the extended warranty expired.

My sister's was about 5k after warranty. **** nissan.

My brother had to replace the one in his 08 at around 100k, brand new tranny installed by Nissan started slipping with less then 7k miles on it, but because it had been 4 year's (he barely drove it) they wouldn't warranty it.

I bought it from him cheap and driving it ragged now lol. It's been slipping for the past year but it gets me where I'm going and gets great gas mileage atleast.

My other pet peeve is dirty dishes in the sink. I'm not the world's greatest housekeeper but you'll never find a dirty dish in my sink and if I come to your house and you have them I'm probably going to wash those too.
