Outhouse build.

Need an outhouse for the hunting camp.
Decided not to dig a stink pit.
gonna use compost buckets with urine separator.
The pee is what makes outhouses stink.
I’ve researched the compost deal a lot and decided this is what I’m gonna do.
It’s pretty much not going to be used much so maintenance won’t be a big issue.
Poured a cement pad with ribar.

Got it framed used some left over roof steel from the cabin project for the roof and build some custom glass windows today for some sunlight....too tall for anyone less than 8 feet tall to see in.
Gonna paint it a custom camo like my treehouse project so it doesent stand out much.

Hey, you are in the woods! BUT, nothing worse than a cold wind whipping through those delicate areas........

Smart on no stink pit, any kind of wind generates odors on those things.....

I put a dutch door on mine to have privacy, but still look out at the Mountains. Compost or not you'll still need some ventilation!

When I was building my house, I stayed by our Creek and I had a Mini Motor home. I built an outhouse that I later turned into a shooting box and took down to my hunting camp..I used a 5 gal bucket with a door to remove it..It served me well for many years..I had cut a quarter moon hole in the front door..Good luck
