Nice. One of my favorite models.I was inspired by this thread to get this out tonite
No disrespect there.. Those are some of the finest out there. Love me some High Standard and Buckmark also.
This thread has been stale lately so your post may get things kicked in again.
Very nice. Really like those old Colts. No intentions of disrespecting the thread, but in the days of raising a kid and an ex wife I could afford only a Ruger mk 2. With no complaints. Although I upgraded on the ex and the Mk 2, to a stainless mk 2.
During those early years, I had a few temptations that I could neither afford at the time, or could justify, yet the lust was very strong to have my very own.
Well, we learn from our mistakes and sometimes the Lord smiles upon us.
That said, here's 2 of 3, or maybe 5, of my bucket list , Non Ruger target 22s.
Neither are original safe queens, so virginity is not an issue, although they aren't beaters either. Just honest ,old school, shooters.
And I likes em a lot.
I haven't seen a 8 in a couple of years.. Beautiful collection.Well just to keep thread going. My favorite Ruger Mark II. All Great Eights. Ones in boxes unfired.
