ODT lowers 2nd edition

The only way another run would happen is if a shop decided to do all the leg work on arranging the manufacturing, accepting orders, etc.

For anything to be made with the ODT logo on it I'd like for the following requirements to be met: (Let me know if I am being irrational in any of this)

- Shop does all the legwork (Find a manufacturer, collect pre-orders, place the order, contact everyone when they come in, etc)

- Shop guarantees to place the order regardless of how many pre-orders they get (For example 30 people order a lower and the minimum requirement is 40)

- Shop would have to accept orders directly and accept check, money order, or credit card. I think a lot more lowers would have been ordered last time if credit cards were an option.

- I approve the artwork

- The ODT gets like a $5 "licensing fee" for each lower ordered


If any shop wants to take this on please get all the info together and send it to me in a PM.

Sorry if I sound jaded about this but the last run was a train wreck and I'm a little annoyed at all the interest after the fact when the previous order was up for over six weeks. I'm ok with another run being done but I'm not going through the stress of getting it together again.

If a shop takes this on I will put the ODT Lowers banner back up to help promote it.

the first set of lowers look great, obviously Steve went through alot of work but they turned out great. There was some trouble before, but I bet people have seen the value of these lowers and that the process was fairy smooth, also I assume Steve has the process down to make this very smooth. So how bout we convince Steve to do a second run that will benefit the site and give great give-away/auction items for the year to come.

Personally I would like to see a logo with a hen standing next to a lego sort of thing with selector switch reading safe, fire, cornish.

Use this thread to show interest, commitment to buy, and other logo ideas that you think would be marketable to members.

I would spend approximately $300 or more on an order so 3 $100 lowers 2 $150, you get the idea so if your down lets start a list copy and paste the last names on the list and add yours to show a growing list. the last run of lowers were about $125-135

I might be interested in 3 more if it looks like this will grow legs.
