New watch

Kinda leanin towards the Eco drive...

I've always liked the big divers. Subs, Seikos, even the Invictas as a beater/dd.

My Citizen EcoZilla (stainless, not titanium) is one of my favorites. Its big honkin' watch weighing in at a pound, but it looks great doing it. I almost sold it a while back. Glad I kept it.

It's true there are so many options out there. I would say figure out what you want to use it for first and how much you want to spend. Personally Im really into automatic/kinetic movements but I know they are not for everyone. I've had a seiko 007 for a long time now and it's a sweet watch under $150. I wear it on a Zulu strap and it can be dressed up or down.
Id recomend spending some time on some watch forums and seeing what catches you eye. Here's one like mine http://forums.watchuseek.com/f29/sold-seiko-skx007-zulu-strap;-halios-isofrane-strap-813775.html

Check out Deep Blue watches.

Their tritium puts all others to shame.

The Japanese auto is as accurate as the Swiss (they come in both) and look good too.

They are mostly 42-44 mm head sizes, so they are sized right for most mens arms, the Luminox always look so small.

I'm pretty sure that the kinetic watches still have some kind of battery or capacitor. Between the two I'd go automatic. Luminox watches are quartz but the tritium makes up for it!

The deep blue watches are bad a$$. But that's a lil outta the price range. Lol. I like the tritium. Like the look of the three lil dials on the face of the watch too.
