Need a Chevy 350 expert

I like to do power brake and adjust timing to get best performance
Running it down the road few times leaving it little loose to adjust on side road
I like to get it to ping aka spark knock and then back off hair for best fuel economy

or power brake it and adjust to make wheels break loose lol

Newer GM you have to unplug timing connected first to adjust timing
Or vac line for advance

I had a hard time with this and got a extra cap and used a dremel to cut windows in the top of the cap so I could see where the rotor was pointing

it was the only way I could get it close enough to crank

and I don’t pay any attention to the timing marks after it’s running

just stop at the bottom and run it up a hill pretty hard and keep advancing the timing until it starts pinging
Then back it off just a little
