So some of yall know me and know I'm a mopar guy well I picked up something I didn't know I'd get to own, I'm a poor guy, I picked up a 1971 dodge challenger nothing fancy just a 318 car but im excited to own one, also have in my little collection is a 1979 lil red Express truck and a 1979 pop top ramcharger.

Hell ya,nice one.I've got a 1966 FormulaS 4 speed car,273 hi-po withover the top racing stripes,bucket seats,pos rear all stock.Solid cam and lifter,dual points,160 speedo and factory tac.

That 71 is a great place to start. You can do what you want without worrying about damaging the value of a collector-level car. And some of the retro-mod parts you can get for the old E-bodies are amazing.

A Challenger was about the only Mopar I never had (for at least a little while) when I was younger. As soon as they came out with the new ones (2008) I ordered an RT 6-speed. Just sold it a few years back, but If I end up with some property and a barn I'll be looking for a project car like you have.

Love the 71’s.
I’d probably build a stroker out of a 360 for that bad boy.
Here’s my barn find beast rolling off the tow truck and then 8 years later on a working man’s budget.
408 stroker , 4 speed, 4:11 sure grip, way too many mods.

99 2500 service body Cummins.
And my 99 Cherokee.

Sold my 71 Swinger.
