Mexican restaurant out of tacos

Sheetz and Jack in the Box have both removed tacos from their menus in the last 12 months. I don't understand it, because I cannot think of any reason to go to either place other than their tacos. When asked why, both places have told me "covid". WTF does covid have to do with fried tacos?

Went into a Mexican place a few weeks ago and they were out of sour cream. Kroger was in the same shopping center. I asked the waiter why didn’t they just go buy some at Kroger and he said “ don’t guess anyones thought to do that”. Manager went next door and bought several tubs. Lol

I don’t think this is a supply chain issue. This is just a lazy cook not wanting to make tacos. I mean I even ordered pollo ranchero which came with tortillas and all the other stuff you put on tacos. This isn’t a political things honestly.

Kind of like Bojangles being out of chicken or the local wing place being out of traditional wings. I've witnessed both of those in the past week

Went to a seafood place in Maine once and they were out of lobster
