WHY DON'T THE ODT HAVE A SEPARATE PLACE FOR ABOVE RETAIL AND LOCKED AND WE ALL GET BACK TO THE WAY IT USED TO BE AND DO SOME GOOD OLD FASHION TRADIN. HORA
As long as the price is right and it is something I want it doesn't matter to me.

I immediately send them a low-ball offer and then don't hold my breath for a reply. Since, I've just given them a free reality check, I then feel good about myself for the rest of the day.

If it's locked I just assume it's overpriced and cruise on by.
Usually I'll skip the ad, and not bother. If I cant ask a open, honest question, i.e... "can't tell from your pictures, but do you have night sights on your pistol?" Why do that via PM? If you do it in the sellers ad, then you have asked a question, that, with a responce, might increase the chances of the OP, selling their item.
Doesn't bother me.
I just dont care.
Some people that sell/trade only want folks to respond via PM.
