Why do people post things as “FOR TRADE ONLY”?

They ain't got no money! Tradin' is the only way to do anything or to get what they REALLY want.
Maybe their wife said "Don't BUY another gun" so by tradin' they get around her rulz.

They do not consider money an object with any trade value.
I don't really understand it either... Guess they just like to wheel & deal with no money involved.
Same reason folks have a higher trade value than cash value sometimes. Just think they may get a better deal from someone who wants out from under a different whatever they have that may be something they want.
