Why do Taurus handguns bring out the dregs of society?

I've got maybe a dozen Taurus's and have never ever had 1 problem with them. Especially the revolvers from the 90's. Poor man's Smith & Wesson.

- Super .38 TV- Gun shoots great
- 3 PT-58's why because they were cheap here on ODT
- 2 PT 909's
- my Pillow Gun PT-92.
Only had trouble with 1 a PT 909, will get it to my gun smith soon. After 4 May.

I have not had many of them or nothing but I have never had a problem with them.

I think some models are junk I had a 357 in a Taurus that was ok those the only ones I ha e ever owned

I talk **** about Taurus because I've personally owned 3 Model 85 that had to be sent back to them.

I've had 4 of their modern production semi auto's ( 2-Taurus millennium; 1-PT24/7, and a PT945) all had to be sent back to the factory. The PT24/7 would fire when you dropped the slide!

I also had a Tracker in .41MAG, that was brand new, fail after 3 rounds! The frame bent, I was lucky to notice the trigger pull change or I might not have a hand.

Had a 1911 that the barrel was such a soft metal, a JHP ( Winchester WWB) put a dent in the feed ramp!

I can't count how many I sent back to Taurus when I worked the gun counters as well.

I've had to send 3 gen 1's back, one had to be sent back twice. I was done with all of Taurus's **** from then on

That said, I would like to pick you brain on a spas I picked up at some point.

I got a .357 for my daughter, but she doesn't want guns in her house, but her husband has 4 in his safe. She rather stab someone my daughter his violence in her blood, none of my sons are like her.

My Taurus collection currently consists of a G3C which I traded a damn SCCY CPX1 for. Also have the original Millennium 9mm which is kinda rare since a LOT of them were recalled and destroyed over a supposed safety lever issue that was mostly user error. And then there's the pre Taurus Spesco 38 Special I recently traded for. And I still ain't shot any of them.
But let me go on record as saying I dig the size trigger grip shape and texture of this G3C a lot more than my G19. There...I said it. Think what you will.

The 41MAG My father bought, I just got to pop it's cherry...

I mostly traded into them, by multiple guns for my one trades years ago. I stopped after the 3rd brand new M85 failed me again. Less then a month before, the 1911 barrel took the nick. I haven't owned one since.

As for the Spas-12. PM me, add pictures and I'll tell you what I can about it!
