Some Alabama gold I got this weekend.
Hey Bass that is really awesome. I've got 2 pans and a 1/2" screen in my kit. I also made a little sluice box that half way works. I'd love to go with you sometime to learn what to do. All I've accomplished so far is some ziploc bags of black sand. I'm in Marietta near Chastain Rd.
I got this with a 3" dredge. Let me know when you have time to go, I know of several creeks that have gold and could teach you what and where to look for.
We got this in Cleburne Co just north of I-20
Heck yea good job man, I'm hitting a creek this coming up weekend myself! I'll bet it is full of golden goodness. The first pans of the season always produce some good gold at this sweet spot!
Gotta love those honey holes! So far this is the best gold we have found on this new property. After this clean up, we went upstream to check for other spoots and found a decent size waterfall that we will hit the next time we are there. There are OUNCES in this creek.
Heck yea! Are yall dredging it? Are ya in a club or something or is it private land.
