Not trying to tell you what to do but for a hunting rifle IMO you should stay around 4.5 to 5lbs.

Yeah I was thinking about that. I think my M&P15 standard is like 8lbs? I think 1 lb is too light. Most triggers match is around 3.5-4lbs. Geissele has the Hi Speed triggers that can be adjusted but for premium!

I like the Timney and Wilson Combat AR triggers. The 3lb Timney is what is in my SBR and I love it.
