How long before you neg?

How long do you wait before dropping a negative feedback on someone?

Scenario, you agree to a trade with a well established member with 100 feedback or so.

You mail him your side of the deal and he agrees to mail you his. Price not being a factor, these are fairly inexpensive items at around $20 or a tad more.

1 week passes and he says he didn't mail it out.

2 weeks pass and he promises it was mailed out.

3 Weeks (as of today) and nothing in the mail.

I'm a nice guy and all but this is ridiculous.

Drop the hammer?

unless there is a tracking number indicating otherwise......neg away (assuming it's within the terms and conditions set forth here by the powers that be)

i always pay the extra couple of bucks just for that reason

Not sure but 3 weeks is a long time regardless of circumstances right?

Give him a chance to reimburse you the money. Packages do get lost in the mail sometimes. If he's not agreeable to that, then neg away.

Had @Jbum build me a custom holster and it was on my doorstep in about 8 days, looks like a NEG to me!
