I've killed a bunch of deer with a .303 Enfield. My father used to shoot coati (coatimundi) with a No. 5. Enfield "Jungle" Carbine at 2-300 yards. As a kid I thought it was neat, as an adult I'm in awe. Iron sights (the micrometer / adjustable sights), Milsurp rifle, 300 yards and a target the size of a raccoon. The old Milsurp rifles make excellent deer rifles, I use a 1800s mosin 1891 that had sights set for 100 yards
I'm liking the Swiss K31s...
Would it be the better one to get over a Mosin Nagant carbine model?
Great advice - thanks. The K31s are very well made.No comparison. Go Swiss.
