Have a chance to buy an Norinco made Mak90. Is this a good AK?

i have one and love it. replacing the butthole stock is a must for a rifle you intend on shooting vs collecting. also as others have mentioned the action is very smooth - smoother than saigas i have owned.

i wish the barrel was threaded. also most furniture will not work without some fitting. mine is a straight cut receiver so the fitting is minor. slant cut would really limit your options.

in my opinion it’s an awesome ak. it’s very reliable and is a good shooter.

Just drop it on your driveway for the 'battle-worn finish' that is so fashionable right now...

Add value to it by sacrificing a chicken and dripping blood over it and then drag it behind my truck and run it over a few times just to get it good and scratched up oh uh I mean to obtain that highly desired patina look of an antique weapon made to look like it was actually used in battle. Easily add $200 in value!

This one is for sale from a private person for $550 with stock thumbhole stock, sling and 2 mags or 2 clips for those from Rio Linda.

I’d buy to at that price. Hell, I’d take 2for that price. I had one for 20years. Sold it. Regrettted that.
