gaschecking plain base bullets

Well I made a check maker and have been doing work on a sizing die and finally figured it out. I can now load 10mm with plain base bullets with checks. Using a coke can to make checks, I chucked up the lathe and made a check former with a .401 inside diameter. Beveled the entrance into a lee sizing die and presto. Shot some 175 lee tv today in my glock clocking 1327fps. No leading to report in the 6" kkm barrel.

Interesting ... I can't remember where I saw it but someone swagged a .40 lead projectile into a empty 9mm case which yielded a wicked looking jacketed soft nosed projectile that they
then loaded and said shot very well ....
