Looking for info on this huge lot of cast lead bullets

I recently acquired this lot of lead bullets and would like some more information on maybe the approx value here I weighed it all there is about 106.18 pounds of lead in various calibers and grain weights any information would be appreciated each white box weighed between 3 and 5 pounds

7000 grains per lb. you can do the math on how many bullets are in each box. Most of those bullet weights and profiles are still commercially available, you can search for pricing that way too. Just be aware that most cast lead bullets sold are now polycoated, so what you have wouldn't command near the prices what vendors have on their sites.

Those look like small amounts of commercial cast bullets, maybe something from a gun show a while back? I remember seeing guys sell similar cast bullets in boxes with hand written labels



Way Too low of a count if it was personal cast with molds. You’d cast 1k or so a session easy…

Yep…casting the bullets is only half the work really…..after that you have to run them through H&I dies to size and lube . This is a pain when you run a lot of them in a session.
My dad and I cast our own for as long as I remember. I been casting with him and by myself after he passed, for more than 40 yrs now. He left me so many molds and H&I sizing/lube dies and presses that it ain’t funny. I will never run dry of them -lol.
We would sit in the garage at a desk/bench and do reloading steps and talk for hours. Or he would sit and load while I worked on a car or something. I enjoyed that almost as much as shooting with him or anything else.
You do not realize how much you cherish simple conversations with your father until he is gone. I loved and cherish all the time he spent with me …..more so as an adult than a child I bet. We would talk for hours while loading, shooting, etc.,
( I really miss my father now….. sorry guys, did not mean to get so mushy or off subject !)
