Foriegn MREs on ebay?

Hey,

Was noodling around on FeeBay and noticed lots of alt-MREs, Russian, Korean, Chinese, etc. Anyone bought and tried them?


I've had German, Norwegian, and Italian ones while deployed, but was curious about "them other people's" eats...

Freeze dried, reconstituted with rice patty water, stir fry cat...

Expensive though (mind the shipping!).

Not sure I'd buy MRE's from a foreign country. Could be ancient. Secondly, they could be stored in some dude's garage

I have 2 English meals I picked up locally . They are a full days ration instead of just one meal like an American meal

When we were training with guys from other nations we always traded chow.
The grass was always greener type of thing ......
I liked the British chow except they had tea instead of coffee, we all thought that was pretty weird, lol.

I don't think I'd trust any of those countries for food. Hell my wife used to cook tilapia all the time. But then we discovered it ALL comes from China or Vietnam. Plus it's pretty much a **** eating trash fish. Short answer is I don't trust China or Russia for edibles and Korean stuff would probably gross me out.
