WTH with putting "or best offer" in the ad but no "lowballers"?!

Do you want to hear offers or not? Am I supposed to be psychic and know what you think the line between "best offer" and "lowballer" is?

Sorry, end of rant.

My question is, whenever I see (or best offer) OBO in a listing. At what point do you determine that you have had the "best offer"? I mean how long does the listing run? What if the best offer was $1.00 after a month, does that mean it sells for $1.00?

I usually just ignore those type of listings because the person who wrote it usually does not know what OBO means.

OBO leaves the door wide open. I do believe half the people don't entirely read the add anyways. There are trade offers when item is for sale only and lowball offers when it says price is firm.

I will always try to negotiate, but I don't think I would thing they are lowball offers...
Did attempt to go with a 33% off the other day... we settled on 15% and we were both happy....
This listing did include "OBO"
