Stupidity has started on the South GA border next to Florida. Camden County started police check points at Exits 1, 3, 6 and 14 (left out 7 for some reason).

Upon guidance from the Coastal Georgia Health District, non-resident transient accommodation restrictions, traffic checkpoints, and a county-wide mandatory curfew shall be imposed to curb the spread of COVID-19 from out-of-area visitors.
Any public accommodation as defined in Ga. Rules and Regs. 511-6-2, including, but not limited to, hotels, motels, privately-owned campgrounds (excluding state- or federally-owned facilities), and short-term rentals (lease term of less than 180 days) shall be subjected to a 72 hour moratorium beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2020, on new rental or letting of such accommodation. This accommodation moratorium will end at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. An extension of this moratorium may occur upon guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH).
Non-resident transients staying in local lodging establishments are directed to self-quarantine during their stay. For the duration of this directive, non-resident transients shall not be allowed local access past checkpoints established by Camden County law enforcement on state and local roadways except for emergent medical care. Owners, proprietors, or their agents will ensure copies are made and provided to all guests, both current and arriving.
Camden County law enforcement will establish active traffic checkpoints near Exits 1, 3, 6, and 14 of Interstate 95 to restrict movement into areas away from I-95 to local traffic only. Camden County residents, non-resident employees of local businesses, and personnel and contractors to including, but not limited to Cumberland Island National Seashore, Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia Department of Transportation, and any other state or federal agency shall not be affected by this requirement. This directive shall not govern commercial or private vehicles engaged in business travel for deliveries or business operations. These checkpoints will end at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. An extension of this time period is possible upon guidance from the Georgia DPH.
Mandatory curfew is now in effect for Camden County effective Monday, March 30, 2020, at 8:00 p.m., and will remain in effect until Monday, April 6, 2020, at 12:00 noon. The above actions will not restrict essential travel to and from work, medical care, pharmacies, or to obtain food or fuel.
CLARIFICATION: Daily curfew in effect from 8:00 on to 5:00 am.
As of 12:00 p.m. on March 29, 2020, Georgia has 2,651 confirmed cases and 40 in the Coastal Georgia Health District, including two (2) in Camden County. Because testing has been limited, there may not be an accurate picture of the current level of infection in our community.
The actions being taken by Camden County and the Cities of Kingsland, St. Marys, and Woodbine elected officials are under recommendation of the Camden County Director of Emergency Management.
Additionally, the measures listed above do not affect operations at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay.
