I like to follow the "what knife is in your pocket" thread and it made me think about what everyone's favorite EDC knife is/was. I tend to go through them but have never left my Benchmade 940 for too long. 10+ years and still going strong (a little ugly though). S30V is a PIA to sharpen though

This was my favorite too. Had one years ago and lost it. Bought another one for an ex-gf. Last year, had some REI dividend money and there was a sale, so I got the 940-1. Normally wouldn't spend almost $300 on an edc, but got this for just over $100 after sale discount and dividend. Easily my all time favorite and about half an ounce lighter than the 940 with aluminum scales. The axis locks are a PITA to put back together, though. Never let your in-laws use it to cut fruit.

I like the Emersons, I have the commander, but I never end up carrying it. 6 oz for an EDC knife is too heavy for me since I don't need that stout a blade. Excellent knives, though.

Izula on belt horizontally at 12:00 bout 6 yrs now. It needs a good sharpening if anyone can hook it up lol

I quit carrying folders long ago.

I don't disagree. But I feel bad about cutting cardboard with a 400$ + blade.

Just think of instead of 10 or 15 okay knives, you have this nice slicer that can be used and is a conversion starter also.

Some people drive a $80k truck everyday.
