I for one, whether it be Primitive weapons hunt or gun, I always check and fire all my weapons used for the hunt prior to the hunt...I see so many that take it for granted that their weapon is spot on. They don't take into account the possibility that it is no longer spot on..Weapons can and do get bumped shaken dropped and more...Take nothing for granted always check to make sure, what you aim at is zeroed in, quick kill is your responsibility.. .Just my opinion.. What say you?

I don't fire them. I am always checking the mounts to make sure nothing has come loose.
How do you go about checking the mounts to assure nothing came loose?
I believe torqueing the screws to check tightness, could in itself cause a shift in zero, just curious how you do it, I like the "concept".
