I have bumped the ad for 2 years now so yes it is still available

What's the problem.

Would you rather have, "I'll take it" after you sold it, so you can explain how you're too busy to close the ad but you sold it a week ago (or do you just not respond?).

I would much rather them explain why they are a lameass and didn't close their ad.

If the ad is less than a week old, with no SPM etc, I make an offer, and it's a go or no go.

But the best is, "Where's Eatonton?" These are the people i'd rather no deal with. DJD

I had some one ask:

Yes

"How would I pay for it? Do you take paypal?"

No

Nothing for 4 or 5 days.

I asked them if they wanted to by it or if they were just taking a survey?

"Just curious?"

Most, not all, of the complaints have been about the potential buyers. How about some of the sellers? Here is an example. Ad listed on a Monday around noon. An "I will take it" PM is sent around 2:30pm on that Monday. The seller never responds despite follow up PMs and posts in the ad, nothing in the next four days. Then the item is relisted for sale. This would lead any responsible buyer to believe that the seller is a scammer, an idiot or despite the price in the ad, the seller thinks this is an auction site. In any case, the seller appeared to be a POS.
