Do all 9mm handgun for $450

A solid option is the Smith and Wesson SD9VE.

Retails at Academy for $321.00, out the door, can be had used for $240 to $285.00

Not a bad trigger at all, and the difference can buy 500 rounds of ammo, with which to get proficient with the gun.

For the same price the TP9SA and V2 are trillion times better. That pistol should cost $219 new.

$450 will get you a used Glock, P07/P09, SIG SP2022, and the excellent Steyr M9
$399 will get you the new Walther PPS M2, FNS
$372 will get you the P100, the P01 steel clone. Or P120
$350 will get you Walther PPS current gen
$320 will get you Canik TP9 and CZ steel clones
$279 will get you Walther PPX
$200 will get you a G2 PT111
$150 will get you a HiPoint
$100 will get you killed

Everyone is talking about the FNS, but I would suggest you keep your eyes open for an FNP. I see them pop up on here every once in a while. I have always liked mine and it has always been trustworthy. I bought mine new right after the FNX came out for a little over $400.

The Sig SP2022 and Ruger SR9 are in that price range at Academy
Local store also has the Ruger 9E which is cheaper no frills version.
One nice thing is it has a peephole instead of the SR9 big ugly round
in chamber indicator. CZ P07 also falls in that $$ range.
Sig P250 (DAO) 9mm at Academy $390. Same modularity as P320 but
hammer fired instaed of 320 Striker and about $150 less than 320.
SP2022 & P07 feel most comfortable in my hand, your mileage may vary.
I chickened out on the 9mm, went with the P250-22 instead.

Good luck with your search

Some good choices here for the right price. The P250 is a well made pistol. It is double action only but a good quality gun. It is the cost effective model, but it is still a Sig, and I believe this gun is highly underrated.
