So the other day i traded for a Matthews Ultra 2 and have decided to give bow hunting a try. I have a friend who is a very good shot and currently has a switchback xt. I really would like to get good with mine. Any tips or suggestions for newbies. What do i need to know about getting the bow adjusted and where also what arrows are the best. Basically a crash course from all you seasoned bow shooters thanks in advance!

Draw length is crucial to being able to shoot accurately. Once you get it set up to fit you and your sights set, then shot as much as possible. If you practice at a longer distance that you plan to shoot normally, it will make you more accurate. I used to routinely shot at 70-100 yards, everything below that was a piece of cake.
